Diamond White’s New Project “Summerland” Shows off her Versatility

In a market saturated with a lot of the same sounds and the same voices, very rarely do we come across someone who seamlessly blends genres without sacrificing commercial viability. Diamond White’s project “Summerland” is sweet, vulnerable, and sonically adventurous from an artist who’s clearly found her sound.

One of the standouts from the project is “Digitally Yours”, which turns the BK The Ruler type beat style on its head for a savory track that feels equal parts rap and r&b at times. However, White is able to go almost into a country gospel type of r&b that seriously flexes her creative muscles as a writer and producer.
