When you can go bar-for-bar with J. Cole’s prodigy, you have proven yourself as a viable lyricist. When you can turn that same song into a banger that will have people turning up all over the world, you’ve proven yourself as an artist. And that’s two birds with one stone for Deante’ Hitchcock, up-and-coming rapper who is quickly making a name for himself.
The song is called ‘I Got Money Now (feat. JID)’ and is an absolute banger. After going hard in his verses, with metaphors and comparisons as well as multiple flow switches, the choruses comes in with a singing sample and he yells over it all “I got money now!” It came at the perfect time right before the summer, as I’m sure this is one that will be played at parties all over for the next few months.
