When clide began this song relaying a story of a past lover and asking the question of why they ‘curved’ him, I was relating heavy. It even had me in my feels a bit if I’m being honest. However, things took a turn when the chorus dropped and clide celebrates ‘singing love songs to himself’ with groovy hits and upbeat rhythms. This fresh, positive perspective of a somewhat negative situation is exactly why I love this dude’s songwriting and overall sound. Check it out!
