After a recent name change and rebrand, Minnesota-based artist Goldrun is making sure 2020 doesn’t end up completely a wreck! His newest, ‘Consequences of Being Alone’ outlines his innermost struggles while conveying a sense of breakthrough and hope that seems to be based on personal experiences.
Everything from the lyrical composition to the production on this song goes absolutely crazy. We definitely did not expect the first drop that results in Goldrun switching his whole flow and cadence into a more aggressive verse, then effortlessly transitioning back to the mellow vibe as the song comes to a close.
