If you’re looking to listen to something that’ll wisp away your worries, I’d suggest playing any song from The Millennial Club! This So-Cal band carries just as much hopeful solitude as they do romantic sentiment in their arrangements, and each song from them is like a warm wave of peaceful sounds. Their latest, ‘complicated/overrated’ is the perfect display of that effortless style wrapped up into 2-and-a-half minutes!
I love the simplicity of production, how airy and solemnly vibrant the instrumentation feels. It creates a nice atmosphere for the multi-layered vocals to shine through and add to the overall silky sound. The Millennial Club definitely has a knack for writing songs that flat out make you feel good. Give this one a listen and I promise you’ll feel the same way!
