Jay Kim Tries To Keep Things From Getting ‘Complicated’ On His New Single

If you have been paying close attention to the hyper-pop scene, then you already know Jay Kim is a young and talented artist that has been gaining a lot of traction. After a handful of impressive singles, he is now back with his new record ‘complicated’.
Sonically, the production is layered with iconic guitar riffs and heavy 808s that help create the hyper-pop aura that we have seen out of many tracks coming from the subgenre. With his expressive lyrics and strong vocal performance, Kim is able to display the anguish caused by past relationships. In addition, his fluttering falsettos and lush melodies help create an infectious song that you will want on repeat. Overall, the song is one of my favorites I have had the chance to listen to this month, and it is a record you will not want to skip.
