If you’ve been looking for innovative pop that has a modern twist, you need to acquaint yourself with rising singer/songwriter Sebastian Portillo. With his raspy vocals and beachy sound that is reminiscent of artists such as BabyJake, & Dominic Fike. Sebastian has a knack for creating highly digestible music that will have you begging for warmer weather and sunny days. With his newest single ‘Circulation’, Portillo brings all the good vibes for a feel-good song that will certainly be stuck in your head from the time you press play.
The record starts with a lush production melody followed by pop sounds and a bassline that will have you wanting to dance. In addition to the infectious production, Portillo delivers a vocal performance that you won’t forget. His raspy vocals mesh well with the layered production in a way that it feels like both are intertwined with each other. With that being said, this song has become my favorite song of 2021, and with only three songs out, Portillo has us wanting more already.
