Zoe Ferguson Shines On Her New Single “christine”

Although Portland, Oregon isn’t nationally known for establishing music stars, they may have one on their hands with Zoe Ferguson. After initially catching our attention with her single “she’s so pretty”, we have been anticipating new music from the rising star. Now, she is back with her new single “christine” that is full of vulnerable lyrics and exceptional vocals.
The single touches on letters she wrote in her teen years about how she perceived love. With it’s fusion of electro-pop and country-folk, Ferguson impresses with her mature songwriting and ability to use topics from the past to culminate a song years later. Overall, this has to be one of our favorite records from her, and it’s one of the standouts off of her recent EP “Probably About You”.
