Chris Buxton - Caught Up (feat. Trev)

Just in case you haven’t ‘Caught Up’ with Chris Buxton in awhile, you should know that he just dropped the song of the freakin’ summer. Not only does it absolutely slap, but I had the pleasure of hopping on a verse as well, so this one’s hitting close to home.
A few months back, Chris hit my line about a song he needed a verse for. We didn’t know each other at the time, but because of mutual connections who felt like I’d be a good fit, we ended up getting to work together. The second I heard the track, I was blown away. I thought to myself, “yeah, I’m going to need to go extra hard on this one. This Chris dude is unmatched.”
It’s always a good surprise, as an artist, when you can easily get along with other artists you’re working with right away. That’s how it was with Chris and I, which made this song all the more fun to be a part of.
Okay, okay… so my unbiased, totally objective, not-at-all playing favorites, fact-based opinion is that you should add this song your summer playlist ASAP.
Lyrics That Stick:
“Hair in the wind
With a Pink Floyd tee
Had a Wendy’s 4 for 4
She was sippin’ on the drink”
