Finn Askew quickly became one of my favorite artists last year when I heard ‘Peach’ and ‘Same Old Love.’ His latest, ‘Cherry Bomb’ is only proving my theory correct that this dude simply does not miss!
This one has an undeniable energy to it. Maybe it’s Finn’s sweet falsettos, or his intimately poetic songwriting, or even the sampled vocal drops on the hook that make it feel like I’m tripping in a park on a sunny day. Either way, I absolutely love it! Turn this one on and watch that smile on your face appear instantaneously!
