Wow. I remember being 18 years old and rapping over Youtube beats with the homies. We’d get together in one of our parent’s basements and instantly search for some Sarcastic Sounds sampled beats to rap over. Fast forward 5 years and this dude is signed to Columbia and releasing songs with some of music’s biggest and most exciting names. His latest, ‘change ur mind,’ is the perfect display of his knack for blending lofi hip/hop, commercial pop, and acoustic soul.

The layers upon layers Sarcastic Sounds includes in both the production and vocal side of his music is incredible. Each song never fails to feel like a wave of emotion and solemn energy hitting our my ears! This song specifically is executed so beautifully and arranged in a way that tells a wonderfully vulnerable story. Plus, we’d be remiss not to mention the lustrous appearances from Clinton Kane and Claire Rosinkranz, shaping this one up to be an absolute masterpiece! Give it a listen ASAP.
