Cemetery Drive - 99 DURANGO
By: Phil Deutsch, IG: @pbdeutsch

Cemetery Drive have been reinventing the rap/R&B game since 2018. This international group, composed of Cloud Mac, Atwood, Thiago, Whyandotte, Chris Wright, Bluknight, and Miles Powers, brings a no-holds-barred attitude to all of their music. This track, co-written by Cemetery and Mario Sambrotta and Nicklous McCorkle is, simply, put a vibe.
“99 DURANGO,'‘ the group’s fifth single of 2020, is a beautifully resonant tone with an impending winter closing in. With hints of My Chemical Romance all the way to Kevin Abstract, the group’s influences are clearly as diverse as their collaboration. Check the track out yourself and stay in tune with this up-and-coming collective.
Lyrics That Stick:
"And I can’t relate at all
Thought I found kin but maybe not
I count my sins and pray to god
Fuckin’ sell my soul to make it hot”
