When it comes to music discovery, I always find myself searching for artists that are willing to bring listeners into their world. I yearn for artists that are looking to push the boundaries lyrically & sonically. Because of that, I find myself searching for disruptors that refuse to align with the genre norms. Although it’s often hard finding these artists, it feels like I hit the lottery when I do. This week, I came across a diamond in the rough called Carlo Loud.

Carlo Loud is a Mexican singer-songwriter that has taken the music industry by storm. Drawing inspiration from the 70s, 80s, & 90s, he has created a versatile sound that draws elements from pop, rock, synth, & disco. I consider his music to be captivating, raw, and his melodies always put me in a trance. Now, he enters our pages with his mesmerizing single “Artificial Love” that features Billboard Electronic music artist Ollie Wride.

"Artificial Love" delivers a captivating blend of retro synth-pop vibes and modern production, creating a nostalgic yet fresh sound that is sure to captivate listeners. The song opens with pulsating synths and a catchy melody, instantly drawing listeners into its world of shimmering neon lights and romantic longing.

Ollie Wride's smooth vocals soar over the dreamy production, delivering heartfelt lyrics that explore the complexities of love in the digital age. Themes of longing, desire, and the search for authenticity resonate throughout the song, as Wride's emotive delivery brings a sense of vulnerability to the lyrics.

"Artificial Love" is not just a song—it's a sonic journey that transports listeners to a world where the lines between reality and fantasy blur. Overall, "Artificial Love" is a standout track that showcases the talents of both Carlo Loud and Ollie Wride. With its infectious melody, heartfelt lyrics, and captivating production, it's a song that will appeal to fans of synth-pop and electronic music alike.
