Newport News, Virginia native, Young Rog, recruits Summer Walker for their new single ‘Bullshit’. The LVRN signed R&B artist is a fresh face but has been grinding behind the scenes since 2014. As a singer and producer, Young Rog has displayed versatility over the years that have put him in positions to make 2021 a big year. With his new single, Rog blends his buttery harmonies with smooth production to create an intoxicating anthem.
With production by Young Rog himself, ‘Bullshit’ serves as a single off of his forthcoming project, Boy Next Door. The song is raw, and it shows the complexities of having to deal with the same things over and over again in an unhealthy relationship. To be honest, this song could have soundtracked the new Netflix movie ‘Malcolm & Marie’ due to the toxicity on display. Although the toxicity is at the song’s surface, both artists shine with their vocal abilities. With only a handful of songs out by Young Rog, we can say that we are extremely excited to hear the upcoming project.
