Coming from the deep south, Abbeville, SC rapper Brandon Thakidd blesses us with his new guitar-driven single titled ‘Broken Bond’. The emotive offering evokes emotions, and Brandon’s cadence will have you in a trance from start to finish.
This is not the first time I have heard about Brandon, and it definitely won't be the last. Following releases such as ‘Poverty’ and ‘Pistol’, the unapologetically raw hip-hop artist shows no signs of slowing. With ‘Broken Bond’ being more of an introspective offering about a loss of trust, we see the versatility of Brandon ThaKidd. He is more than a rapper. He is the type of artist that can make you feel, but he can also make you want to rage. That’s the beauty in the vulnerability that he pours into his music. With him eyeing 2021 as another big year, we can only hope he continues dropping records like this.
