When you mix elements of hyper-pop with pop-punk songwriting, you get Ty Lorenzo. In between the modern alt-pop and trap structure, Ty is a happy medium due to his ability to craft compelling records. With his new single ‘BREAK OUT THE CELL’, he gives a confessional record that will have you belting from start to finish.
‘BREAK OUT THE CELL’ is an experimental song that is layered with different elements of punk, alternative, and even modern pop. In addition, the high-energy record is laced with trap drums and booming bass lines that will have you wanting to punch a wall. Ty glides over the beat with his smooth vocals, and he shows his maturity as a songwriter and singer to fit right in the pocket of this highly layered beat. Overall, the song is a smash, and I can’t wait to play it at my next party!
Lyrics That Stick:
“I was a young boy not long ago
Listening to bass lines
Through the grapevine
Got a straight line on my face
I strum for a great time
Dad's Statewide”
