Floyd Fuji Gets The Assist From Topaz Jones On New Single “BREADWINNER”

Out of all the genres, in my personal opinion, R&B has stretched it’s limits the most over time. There’s become so many sub-genres of it and so many different influences getting intertwined with it that it’s created a world of its own. That said, I’d like to introduce our next submission from R&B singer Floyd Fuji featuring Topaz Jones called “BREADWINNER”.

The Virginia born, Berklee College educated, artist has been carving out a lane of his own using his influences from soul, indie, hip hop, and psych rock to create the sound we hear him delivering now. One of my favorite things about Floyd Fuji and Topaz Jones’ approach on this one is how much personality is wrapped into their vocals. The sultry melodies and unpredictability keep listeners on their toes while Floyd and Topaz paint pictures of their desires to spoil a new love interest after assuming that was her type. A feeling that I’m sure we’ve all felt after spending a little too much on a drink for someone at the bar. Go show them some love and enjoy the vibes from their new single “BREADWINNER”
