Rightfield Tags In JordyPurp For Upbeat New Single “Boys Don’t Cry”

As a music writer there’s no better way to start your weekend than opening your inbox to a hit. Although, I must admit, I saw it coming as soon as I read the names of who’s song it is… If you haven’t heard of Rightfield or Jordy Purp, stop sleeping, they’ve been dropping great music for a minute individually, but this time they teamed up to deliver their energetic new single, “Boys Don’t Cry”.
This one is a smash down to the cover art, which hilariously features the three artists posing as a happy family in the middle of a field. The blend of hip hop and alternative reminds me of artists like Dominic Fike and Cautious Clay, and it’s a nice change of pace from the typically more indie-leaning duo Rightfield. With the assist from Jordy Purp on a well crafted verse, I know this one is going to be coming out of a lot of people’s speakers this 4th of July weekend.
