LA WOMEN - Blame Me

Auckland-based indie-pop trio, LA WOMEN, make their debut on our pages with their intoxicating new single ‘Blame Me’. Although this is my first time listening to the trio, you can hear the immense talent they have within this record. Their melodies are layered well, and their songwriting is raw and full of imagery.
With less than 15 singles on streaming platforms dating back to 2016, the trio is still fairly new to the industry, and it seems like they have finally found their sound. After releasing catchy singles like ‘Daydreams’ and ‘Love Me’ in 2020, you can tell the growth in their overall vocal and sound production. The beats are more layered, and they have a groove that really separates them from their earlier work. With ‘Blame Me’, I feel the trio has finally landed and I can’t wait to see what is in store for them.

A little more under pressure to survive”
