With his new single titled ‘bite the bullet’, conner pays respects to the ’90s as he delivers a high powered record that evokes feelings of angst and rebellion. This genre-fusing single takes elements of both punk rock and rap, and it forms a hybrid product that will be the anthem to everyone’s summer. His latest record is sonically pleasing and the lyricism is just as compelling.
When I listened to it the first time, all I could think about were the early 2000’s summers where I would skate around town getting in trouble with my best friends. The song brings a sense of freedom, and I really appreciate the risk conner takes with his music. As an artist, it’s so easy to conform to the standards of the industry, but it seems like conner doesn’t play by the rules. He knows himself well, and he takes his strengths to create songs that not only stick, but he makes songs that make you feel something.
