Bela Pierce - Lying

Florida native Bela Pierce is back with “Lying” her second, somber release - a follow up to her well-performing debut track, “New Ground.” With this new single, Bela is back to ease further into her role as pop’s next darling act. With the full force of her label, Daycare behind her, Bela Pierce has nowhere to go but up.
“Our intentions weren’t clear, but I was convinced that I was falling for him. ”
Co-written by Day Bit, “Lying” is a reserved track, letting most of the emotion come through in the sweeping piano and Bela’s heart-rending vocals. With a firm grasp of the emotions swirling around her, “Lying” shows an impressive amount of self-awareness for such a young artist.
“This song encompasses every mixed emotion when deciding which is worse: admitting your feelings and getting rejected, or choosing to never say anything at all”
Bela Pierce clearly has a bright career ahead of her, we can’t wait to explore each new side of her art she presents to us.
Lyrics That Stick:
“You put your arm around me
I can’t find the words to say
Oh don’t say it I’m
not falling for it.”
