Bazzi - Renee’s Song

I’m for real about to cry as I write this. If the new single from Bazzi doesn’t hit you right in the heart, I don’t know what will. I listened a few times before I noticed the artwork for the single and that’s when the realness of the song hit me. In this one, Bazzi is laying his heart out for not only all of us, but for Renee as well.

The track features a very simple guitar pattern, and no drums behind it. The power doesn’t need to come from there, because the rawness of Bazzi’s voice brings all of the power we could ever want. His voice sounds pained, like the time apart from his love has been nothing but impossible for him. Lucky for us, his longing shines through and gives us this beauty.
