Eva Snyder- “quicksand”

Eva Snyder is an artist that deserves your attention. After impressing us with her single "war", the Nashville-based artist has been captivating listeners with her ability to craft introspective alt-pop songs that will pull at your heartstrings. Over the last month we have had time to really dive into her sound. With roots in Massachusetts and having lived in San Francisco, Eva brings elements from both coasts to her unique sound. Eva marries raw and transparent lyrics with an authentic pop vibe brought to life on an acoustic guitar. Now, the emerging singer debuts on our pages with her latest single "quicksand". The single is her second release from her upcoming album. In my opinion, this is one of her best vocal performances. She sends chills with her angelic vocals and raw lyrics. Overall, this record has me excited for the rest of the album. Stream the song below!

Helenor- “Warm Ways”

I've been in search for a song that makes me fall in love with music again, and I think I have found it. This week I was blown away when I came across the musical project known as Helenor. Helenor is a musical project born in the bedroom of Brooklyn-based visual artist and songwriter David DiAngelis. The project is the DIY sonic and visual exploration of DiAngelis’s relationship to metamorphosis, moments of frustrating stasis, and habits. Expanding from a one man show to a full band, Helenor lands on our pages with his electric new single "Warm Ways". The record is the first release from his forthcoming sophomore LP. Floating and introspective, the track asks listeners to relax in its immaculate indie-art-pop landscape while asking the question: “How do you escape from always having an escape plan?”. It's an easy-going reflective track full of lush melodies and warm sonics. The winding melodies and dreamy, yet catchy vocals add to this song's nostalgic side as well. Overall, the record is a must-listen.

Gen Bello- “Love so Sweet”

If you have been searching for an artist with angelic vocals, look no further. Emerging singer, Gen Bello, has been an artist that we at BOTD consider an artist to watch. She has this innate ability to push musical boundaries by blending elements of soul with catchy pop hooks. Her sound can be described as R&B with warm Pop undertones. Hailing from Harlem, Bello is emerging as one of New York's best kept secrets. Although there has been a long list of polarizing and influential artists from New York City, Gen Bello is carving out her own path. This week, she enters our pages with her single "Love so Sweet". The single is one of the most beautiful songs I have heard all year. from the harmonies to the sonics, the song will have you hypnotized. She has an ability to make you feel every emotion with her vocal performance & lyrics. This was another impressive effort by the rising singer. If you need a new single to add to your rotation, press play below and vibe out!

clide- “PASSPORT (sad songs in the summer)”

Summer is here, and I know we are all in search of songs that will encapsulate the warm weather and good vibes. This week, BOTD favorite clide released his heartbreak summer anthem “PASSPORT (sad songs in the summer)”, and it may be the best song we have heard all week. The record is captivating from start to finish, and it features one of the catchiest hooks. His vocal cadences are smooth, and his overall performance is exceptional. clide shines as he discusses realizing what you have when it's gone. “PASSPORT (sad songs in the summer)” combines a vibey and uplifting summer beat with melancholic lyrics, and a strong hook that's stuck in your head after the first listen. It's a perfect add to your favorite summer playlist.

Jonathan Shapiro- “Cotton Candy”

Making his BOTD debut, emerging artist/rapper, Jonathan Shapiro, has us impressed with his catchy new single "Cotton Candy". The record is about the sorrows that coming with moving on. Over engaging guitar riffs, Shapiro delivers a reflective single that'll make you want to take a look in the mirror. The record is perfect for late night summer drives. If our staff could give you a rising artist to keep an eye on, we would all say Jonathan. He has that "IT" factor.

BAYEM- “Enough”

Over the last year, we have seen retro synthwave music make a comeback. Although it has become popular, not everyone can perfect the sound needed for this style to flourish. However, rising German-American pop artist, BAYEM, has us in awe with his latest single "Enough". "Enough" is my favorite record off of his new EP, "OASIS". "Enough" is a nostalgic, anthemic appeal to a lover to find contentment in what is good, and not to fear that they will not be worthy of love forever. The song is accompanied by a internet vaporwave-inspired track, evoking the great nu-wave sonics of the early 80's, but reinterpreted for the modern era. With that being said, stream "Enough" and the rest of his EP below.
