If you still haven’t hopped on the Lani Rose bandwagon, you better do so now before it’s too late. This dude’s sound is literally unlike any other, exploring such unique arrangements and sound textures alongside dreamy melodies and infectious rhythms. ‘Autumn’ takes many twists and turns sonically, all while telling a story of self-reflection and holding onto something that won’t last.
Lani Rose’s songwriting really stands out to me. Flowing effortlessly as he relays ideas of regret, hope, and hints of confusion in processing what’s happening around him. I feel like a lot of it is up for interpretation, but it’s still so personal and intimate to him.
This song is definitely going to be on repeat for awhile. Lani Rose’s musicianship and songwriting abilities are going to make him wildly known in no time, so check this one out until then!
Lyrics That Stick:
“Pockets know where summer went
And I think it's marajuana
Man I hate to be so honest”
