Anderson Hao Doesn’t Hold Back On Her Latest Single “on me”

Rising singer-songwriter, Anderson Hao, has been one of the brightest artists I’ve had the opportunity to cover this year. She’s refreshing, genuine, and her voice is otherworldly. If you love nostalgic records that pull at your heartstrings, look no further. Hao’s sound feels like it could have been the soundtrack to a late 90s Rom-Com. Drawing comparisons to artists like Billie Eilish, Beabadoobee, & Clairo, Hao has continued to take the industry by storm. Now, she returns to our pages with her latest single “on me”. The record is the first single from her sophomore EP "Mom I'm a Popstar!", and it’s a dreamy masterpiece. Compared to some of her more melancholic songs, “on me” is a heady single that will make you want to dance the night away. There is a sense of optimism to the record, and I loved the song sonically. Anderson Hao truly spreads her wings on this record. If this is any indication of what is to come, I’m fully ready!
