AMAG Bears It All On His Latest Single, “Matches”

When it comes to music, I’m always searching for artists that are pushing the boundaries. I yearn for artists that are bold, raw, and captivating. Although it’s hard to find these artists in an oversaturated industry, I sometimes come across a diamond in the rough. This week I came across emerging independent artist AMAG.

Hailing from Germantown, MD, AMAG is an artist that has taken the music industry by storm. After impressing me with his single “Ctrl Alt Del”, I knew he had the “IT” factor. Now, he debuts on our pages with his introspective single “Matches”.

“Matches” is an acoustic record that is laced with warm vocals and songwriting that evokes raw emotions. AMAG bears it all as he discusses a fading relationship. Over the smooth sonics, AMAG delivers lyrics that show him deal with the complications of a tumultuous relationship. Although he knows the relationship isn’t good for either party, he still questions if they could have worked. AMAG further proves he is a burgeoning star, and I can’t wait to have this on replay all summer!
