I’m sitting in my apartment listening to this new Kehlani, feeling like I was transported back to 2015 hearing her angelic, soothing voice for the first time again. ‘Altar’ is a beautifully-composed, emotionally-healing record full of infectious vibes.

Everything about this song makes me want to fall in love! It’s got that celebratory, end-of-the-movie sound that you can’t help but smile to. And those organ pipes at the end? Ooof. Kehlani tapping into those mesmerizing, RnB roots we all know and love is definitely something to get excited about!
