Some Alt Bloom songs make you want to get up and dance… this new Alt Bloom song makes you want to get up and ‘Sway!’ The Montana native never falls short of bringing us infectious melodies and and a new twist on modern-day pop music. From his new EP, ‘Astronaut Complex,’ comes this beautifully crafted outro track, ‘Sway.’
Eery, atmospheric sounds introduce the piano at the beginning, and as a listener, it catches your attention right away. As the first verse leads into the hook, it feels like a slow, dramatic build up. Almost as if you’re slowly beginning to dance with someone and you start by, well, swaying. What’s impressive about this track is the raw, poetic story being told, allowing the listener to really immerse themselves in the music.
Hats off to Alt Bloom for this song and the rest of the EP. We’re certain it won’t be the last you’ll see from him anytime soon.
