With her angelic vocals and soothing production, Rachael Jenkins is an emerging artist that has taken my breath away with her exceptional talent. Coming out of Utah, the singer/songwriter debuts on our pages with her stunning new single titled “Allergy Season”.

The single is led by well-written lyrics that paint a vivid picture that I think we can all relate to. “Allergy Season” is a nostalgic fueled record that dives into the unwanted memories that are paired with summer and sneezes. Overall, her voice is enchanting, and the mixture of her raw lyrics and beautifully strung acoustic guitars make this one of my favorite songs as of recent. Rachael does a great job of relating her poetic lyrics to a relationship it seems that she has experienced. She touches on the thought of someone creeping back into her life without warning, and she relates that to the creeping up of allergy season. With that being said, Rachael has one of our favorite songs at the moment and we can’t wait to hear more.

Lyrics That Stick:

“I met you in the springtime

I was dying

And in the meantime

You were pining over me

Allergy season”
