Woody Pond - best friends

Unfortunately, sometimes, ‘best friends’ come and go. Lucky for us, good music stays forever. Woody Pond brings us back to old times, hanging out and buying pizza with your friends on this song. With beautifully arranged lyrics he then relates those memories to the present state, announcing how those friends are now all ‘depressed.’
Being open about this sad reality takes courage as an artist, but ultimately helps us listeners connect on such a deep level. The fact is that a lot of people can probably relate heavily to this song! With such vulnerable songwriting also comes the infectious melodies and raw talent that we know to expect in a Woody Pond song. Hats off once again!
Lyrics That Stick:
“Heard your girlfriend just left town
Last year
And this year you ran out of tears”
