If we woke up tomorrow and this new Jaylon Ashaun was #1 on ‘Billboard’, we honestly wouldn’t be surprised! Dropping song after song this year including an entire album of demos, this dude’s consistency and overall talent is propelling him straight to the top.
The amount of layered harmonies and melodies throughout this song had us deceased. Between the ad-libs in the verses and all the textures in the hook, Ashaun’s vocals felt like a gentle wave washing over us. Not to mention how impressive his songwriting is, too, with the detailed story being told about a personal relationship in his life.
