Michigan native 6o is back with his fifth single release since his EP Changes dropped earlier this year. The Ryan Bevolo and Nick Mira-produced South-infused trap heater is a beautiful setting for 6o to put his vocal mastery to good use on “Whatsinit4u.” With rhythmic bass and dense instrumentation, this track is brimming with creativity.
With tens of millions of streams under his belt, 6o is no stranger to the music industry. He’s been releasing since 2018, and it’s so refreshing to see him sticking to his guns. With a blast of success early in his career, many artists in his position would have let that daunting stance hamper their work, but not 6o. His latest effort is a masterclass in the smoothest, trap you’ll hear East of the Mississippi.
