Another one from 637godwin, making releases pretty much a weekly occurrence for the last little while. This one stays very on brand with his sad rap music, just as powerful and just as catchy.
‘Purple Rain’ is about having your heartbroken and turning to substances to help alleviate the pain. He comes from a position of weakness but with a voice of strength, saying there are other ways to get rid of the pain, ways that will be a lot better for you in the long run. Of course, this is sung with an extremely catchy melody over a well-produced beat, making for an absolute banger.
