Melodic superstar Dro Kenji is back after a strong and solid year of consistent singles! The South Carolina emerging artist is no stranger to our blog as we have featured multiple of his singles this year. Even though this is like my fifth or seventh time hearing his music, I am still as amazed as when I first heard his unique sound. The most impressive factor outside of his raw talent is the work ethic he displays.

To end the year right, he decided to release his first album, “Tears and Pistols”. Containing a total of 10 songs and lasting for around 23 minutes, this album can be played in one sitting. Dro Kenji chose to make a name for himself by only adding one feature from TyFontaine. The rest of the album is solely carried by Dro Kenji which is rare for newer artists looking to blow up. We are more than impressed with his sound and the progress he has shown. If you haven't already, show this album some love!

Favorite Song: Blowing You Down

Lyrics That Stick:

I'm lost in here, I'm lost in here

I would call you to my side but I don't think you'd care

Who knows?

I'ma send my momma fifty and a red rose
