girlfriends - girlfriends (Album Review)

After the release of their first single and one of our favorite things to come from 2020 so far, girlfriends just blessed us with their self-titled debut album. After the first listen through, all we can say is that pop punk ain’t dead!!
We’ve mentioned before how extremely versatile both Travis Mills and Nick Gross have proved themselves to be in their individual careers, and it’s so apparent how well that’s molded the sound of girlfriends now. This album is uniquely composed of everything from head-banging rock-n-roll bangers, to mellowed-out ballads that’ll have you singing at the top of your lungs.
Give this album an honest listen and see for yourself first hand how these guys are changing the game!
Favorite Song: Up All Night
Lyrics That Stick:
”Sometimes I wait for somebody that I don't need to pray for
Somebody that I don't need to save more
Cause I'm too busy saving myself”
