The title of this project is fitting, because I felt like I was in a dream listening through this thing. Devin Kennedy has this certain way of delivering such vulnerable music, creating a space for relatability to flourish like no other. These 6 songs will have you smiling, reminiscing, crying, and everything in between.
The range in perspective, arrangements, and overall style of music throughout is super impressive, as well. Especially for just 6 songs (and one of them being a stripped version)! Devin obviously had a lot he wanted to say, and I feel like he definitely accomplished that. Give it a spin if you haven’t yet!
