Cal Scruby - While You Were Sleeping (Album Review)

What happened ‘While You Were Sleeping?’ Cal Scruby dropped one of the coldest albums of the year. That’s what happened. 17 songs and no skips, it feels like Cal had a lot to get off his chest, and he did it in amazing fashion.
What we love about this album is how much attention was paid to every single verse, line, and bar. This dude literally did not miss once! It’s not an easy feat to be so vulnerable on a rap album while still delivering in terms of punch lines and flow switches, but Cal Scruby hit the nail on the head.
What’s crazy is that after one listen through, we already can guess there’s hella bars we probably missed. All that means is we’ll be running it back all summer! Hats off to Cal Scruby for this one.
