In 2020, it feels like there’s a lot of things that have ‘Gone Wrong,’ but Dominic Fike’s debut album is far from that. He’s truly the definition of an artist that you can’t put in a box, and this body of work is nothing short of that.

The first thing that stood out while listening is how short and concise each song is. The thing is, regardless of how short the songs are, so many different sounds and styles are fit into them. From mellow ballads like ‘10x Stronger,’ to alternative punk anthems like ‘Why,’ to hip-hop funk mashes like ‘Florida,’ there’s literally something for everyone.

This aura of this project honestly reminds us of ‘Blonde’ when it dropped. The uniqueness, yet instant classic feel to every song holds strong on this album. Hats off to Dominic Fike!

Favorite Song: Vampire

Lyrics That Stick:

“I only showed up to tell you

Everyone at this party’s a vampire

This ain’t red wine”
