Being a pretty big fan of dude the past couple years, watching John K grow into the artist he is now is truly a spectacular thing to see. Putting his versatility on display over and over again while staying true to himself through genuine, vulnerable songwriting over the years, ‘in case you miss me’ feels like a culmination of that hard work and consistency. And wow. It’s beautiful.

The complexity in perspective is super impressive to me. Through each song, I got such unique, vibrant stories relayed to me, and I felt like I learned something new about John each track. Meanwhile, the concise nature of his cinematic, organic arrangements held true throughout. Check it out if you haven’t yet! I’ll have it on repeat all summer, no doubt.

Favorite Song: fomo

Lyrics That Stick:

“Holding every moment

Like a memory I don’t wanna lose

It’s the fear of missing out on you”
