Moonlander - Houston 97 (Album Review)

Ready to take a trip and shoot up into space for a bit? MoonLander sure does take us there as we soared throughout his latest album and literally felt as though we were having a party on the moon! This album is combined with all the essentials needed; the invigorating exertion, all the key features and the perfect melodies! One of our favorite singles on the album has to be ‘GoodNight,’ where MoonLander really zones in at the peak of the liveliness he encompasses in the majority of his songs. We also heard a slight Mac Miller tone within some of the verses he delivered and it intertwined perfectly with the harmonies and boom of the bass he added to the song. I mean… chef’s kiss, this one is exceptional.

MoonLander is a true force to be reckoned with, given his ability to adapt and alter his style while still keeping a firm ground on who his identity is as an artist. “I Hate This Song,’ also hit home, with the throwback nineties elegance he added, we can see this banger on the radio, everyone eating up the mainstream appeal he included. MoonLander’s last song ‘Goodbye,’ was the polished and precise single perfect for the ending to this album. And we’re left waiting in anticipation for what’s to come with MoonLander, because this artist is truly shooting for the stars!

Lyrics That Stick:

“Hey, what’s up, what’s up

Got your girls in the back, with the bag rolled up

Walk in with the hair and the nails all done

Look good, but show me what a bad girl does.”
