Hailing from Brooklyn, NY, punk-jazz trio, Goldbloom, has taken the music industry by storm. They are raw, captivating, and their music has an edge that will make you want to run through a wall. When it comes to the current state of the music industry, many of us are clinging on to music that makes us feel something. Goldbloom has become my answer. Generating thousands of views off their authentic sound, they continue to raise the bar of their own standards. Providing fans with countless hits, they have continued to rise to the occasion. Now, they debut on our pages with their latest album, “For Money and Power”.

The sophomore album is laced with captivating drumbeats, engaging saxophone melodies, & infectious basslines that highlight the hopes of finding financial gain & political influence. Sonically, the songs are dynamic, and the songs are carried by a wider stylistic range that music composition lovers will appreciate. For me, my favorite tracks were “Redneck”, “Another Knight”, & “Callahan”. “Redneck” & “Another Knight” put the bands ability to make punk-jazz hits on full display. “Callahan” is another great record that showcases a more bluegrass feel that highlights their Texas roots. Overall, “For Money and Power” is one of the best projects I have heard so make sure to stream when it drops June 7th!
