Crae Keeps It Real On His Latest EP, “V2”

With roots that trace back to Philadelphia, Alexandria, Virginia-based rapper, Crae, has taken the industry by storm. Drawing influence from jazz & hip-hop greats (2Pac, Nas, Lil-Wayne), the burgeoning star has crafted a sound that is captivating & unapologetic. He’s raw, in-your face, and his vocal delivery is exceptional. In addition, it is rare to find a hip-hop artist that is actually talking about REAL things in everyday life. Crae makes sure to relate to his audience, and his storytelling is easy to connect with. Now, he debuts on our pages with his vibrant new EP “V2”.
“V2” is captivating project that highlights the thrills and exciting lifestyle of one of hip-hop’s rising stars. Crae discusses the highs that come with his lifestyle, and he shows his listeners how to live life on their own terms. The project is about taking control of your life and rising to the occasion. “V2” is a transformative project that will make you believe that you can change your own circumstances with the right mindset.
My favorite tracks from the 6-track EP were “Signs”, “V2”, & “Euphoria”. “Signs” is a hustler’s anthem. The vocal execution was exceptional, and the feature from DEUCEWORLD was the cherry on top. Crae’s ability to celebrate his victories and newfound success make this a song for everyone that is looking to elevate. “V2” is a heady record laced with engaging auto-tuned vocals and sonics that will make you want to dance. “Euphoria” is my personal favorite. I loved the introspective lyrics and the melodic feel. It was a great change of pace. Overall, this is one of the best projects I have heard recently so stream it below!
