If 2020 has shown any bright spots, it’s these past three singles from Conor Matthews just absolutely soothing our souls to no end. Releasing the newest one into a 3-track EP, ‘fool’s elegy,’ it feels like a beautiful snapshot into this talented artist’s recent relationships and ventures in finding love.
It’s not common we can truly connect on this type of level with a body of work. Conor Matthews has just always had a way of writing songs so personally raw and relatable, and this project was no exception. Not to mention how flat-out smooth and soulful his voice always comes through, creating an automatic sense of emotion and vulnerability right off the bat.
Do yourself a favor and check this EP out if you haven’t yet. We’ll have it on repeat for awhile to come!
