Yes, ‘After All This Time’ we have a wonderfully, in-depth and life-changing album for you from Colie and Eon Zero. This album is going to make you feel just that, like you have finally taken a breath ‘After All This Time.’ Now every song and album we cover has its own place, which in turn, makes us feel a certain way. What you all should know about this album, is that it transforms and pulls you in this abundance of sensations where you’ll be completely rejuvenated!

  • The first song on the album, ‘Save Me From Myself,’ in our opinion was perfectly placed as the first song you listen to. It uses this intense and very uplifting atmosphere throughout the instrumental and the overall tone of the song to focus the attention on oneself before getting into the relationship aspect within the album. Eon Zero’s verse is gripping and leaves you with goosebumps he demonstrates his suffering with his own self. You see this artist in his most vulnerable form as he speaks of giving it all to God and dealing with allowing others to take advantage of him, because he felt defeated. You follow him along this glorious journey to strength as the music accompanies him with these angelic, church like harmonies in the background. You realize after that verse that Eon and Colie were meant to be on a song together, and they happened to grace us with five.

  • It’s frank at this point that this album covers the nitty gritty emotions, circumstances and viewpoints in a relationship. ‘Trying to Survive’ had that very familiar and iconic Halsey and G-Eazy smash ‘Him & I.’ The way that they describe this slightly complicated relationship gives us this idea that it may be a tad hectic and toxic within this relationship at times… although, never boring. The alternative, rock energy within the beat brings you to your feet as the hook is being delivered. They vow to always be there for each other through all the ups and downs and you truly understand how powerful love can be.

  • ‘By Your Side,’ has this upbeat and freeing feeling throughout the instrumental, which instantly brings a different aura from the previous song. Colie contains this rather carefree and cheerful tone to her voice as she swings in with the hook right away. There’s this obvious confidence within the lyrics of the song as she speaks of letting go of pride and just attempting to jump into love effortlessly. Eon Zero brings in these beautiful harmonies and we applaud the vocals and as he brings that same energy of eagerness and just allowing himself to let go of the doubts that are tied to relationships.

  • ‘Last Breath’ was were we saw Colie in her element as she showcases her voice in such an adoring and alluring way. You hear her completely unleash, especially in the hook as she surrenders and draws us in with those harmonies. You gain this personal infliction while listening to this song as Colie leaves you utterly speechless. Eon Zero doesn’t disappoint either as his verse has you in a trance and his bars cease to stop until he builds to this explosion, allowing Colie to draw us back in.

  • The fifth and final song on the EP, ‘No Matter Where I Roam’ really dives into the emotional pull of still longing and feeling for another no matter where you go. Colie’s vocals are actually stunning, which gives the song this profound aura being accompanied by the enticing and triumphant instrumental behind it. Eon Zero plunges into his verse and speaks about the insecurities and fears of harming one’s pride while watching the one of your desire with another and playing with the decision to say something.

After really absorbing every ounce of this album, one understands that these two artists built these songs, piece by piece to touch us. You’ll find yourself sitting here with this mix of feelings; such as self assurance, the depth within relationships and of course love in its purest form. These artists use relationships as their core and you start to see all of your own in a different light as the songs continue. ‘After All This Time’ you’ll feel grateful and honestly woke after experiencing this album!
