Shaven Primates Share Their Daring New Album “Birds Aren’t Real”

Hailing from Oxford, 5-piece dark-wave, art-rock, proto/post-punk band, Shaven Primates, have finally released their daring new album “Birds Aren’t Real”. The album is an exceptional body of work that demonstrates their innovative spirit and ability to craft a generation defining album.
For those that are just experiencing the band for the first time, Shaven Primates was established in 2017. Since then, they have continued to captivate listeners with their genre bending sound that feels more refreshing than anything being released at the moment. They are raw, and they have an aura that is infectious.
With “Birds Aren’t Real” the band delivers one of their most daring & experimental projects to date. The album is anything but conventional and it embraces unorthodox ideas. When it comes to the narrative, the band delves into the belief that birds are not mere creatures but agents of espionage, embedding a layer of intrigue that leaves listeners both amazed and curious. Sonically, the album is dynamic, cohesive, and exceptional to say the least.
Overall, the album is one of my favorites of the year and it is a moment in time you don’t want to miss out on. For me, I love artists/bands that push the boundaries, and Shaven Primates have excelled in this department. When discussing my favorite songs, I would have to say the whole album is great but “Fade Away”, “Unmasked”, & “A Decision” are my favorites.
